We are on our way Mickey!

It has been a long day already and it is only 7 am. We were up at 4:30, shower, last minute trip things and ready for the Rapid Rover pickup at 5:30. Thankfully we were ready because he was 15 minutes early.

We blew through security at the airport and have already had some breakfast. Now we sit at the gate waiting.

It is foggy and a little rainy. The weather here is expected to be bad today so hopefully we are out of here before it really turns

Don’t worry Mickey, we are on the way!

Here comes the sun

Twas the night before, (the night before), the Bailey’s left for Disney and all through the house, the girls were very hyper, thinking of Mickey Mouse. The bags were all packed, (well mostly), and final shopping was done, visions of princesses paraded by in little dreams one by one.Walt Disney World Gallery Photo

Well something like that anyway.  The weather in Philly has me a little concerned about our flight Saturday morning.  A storm is moving in with rain and snow.  The temperature in the low 30’s. I hope we are long gone before it hits.  Fingers crossed that we are not delayed, at least not for long!  It is expected to be mid-80’s in Orlando…yummy! Sun sun sun!

The kids are very cute today, there is an extra energy in both of them.  An extra bounce in their step. We are so close….We will be there soon Mickey!

Washing the grey away, again

I am sitting at the salon waiting for my timer to ring. There was no way I could let Mickey and the gang see me before a much needed touch-up! Sadly, it does not take long these days before a touch up is needed. I am close to the point that if I would let it grow out I would be basically fully grey. I am not getting old but my hair seems to be. 🙂

We are just a few short days away. I really do think I am worse than the kids in how anxious I am to go on this trip. I definitely need the time away from the homestead but I think it is more how much I think the girls will enjoy it. I have neighbors who think we are crazy saying it is all over priced and over rated. I think I agreed until we went almost 2 years ago. The thrill on my daughters faces, and my husbands to be honest, was magical. It truly is the happiest place in the world for us (at this point in our lives anyway).

Happy girls make me happy!

We are almost ready to jump on the plane. Both girls bags are packed. Mine could be in seconds since it is piled on the guest bed. I believe Frank has even begun to organize. A few short days away, can’t wait!
