Megan’s recital

How proud can one mother be?  Meg’s recital went great!  They even brought her to the front of the stage for a special moment.

I can’t top that so Meg will be my post for the day!

I am a married mother of two beautiful girls. Due to family and personal history I had an over 50% chance of developing breast cancer and refused to be a victim. On July 2, 2012 I underwent a bilateral prophylactic mastectomy with full reconstruction.

  1. You are right, “boobs don’t make the woman,” it is beautiful children, not boobs or genetic disorders that define us. Clearly you are making all the right decisions for your family… planning to be around for quite some time. Congratulations. You SHOULD be very proud!
