Derby Day

Worked in the garden all morning and afternoon and am pooped!  I am in now to settle in front of the television for The Kentucky Derby.  I love working in my yard!  I figured I would add a simple gratitude list today:

Today I am grateful for:
  • The rain holding off and the ability to work in the garden
  • The girls helping happily
  • Days at home with the family

I am a married mother of two beautiful girls. Due to family and personal history I had an over 50% chance of developing breast cancer and refused to be a victim. On July 2, 2012 I underwent a bilateral prophylactic mastectomy with full reconstruction.
